Brent's FOTOGRA Class Final Output

It was De La Salle- College of Saint Benilde's
final examinations 2 and a half weeks ago and as usual,
students went ga-ga over their tests and projects.
But not for Brent... ;)
Easy breezy day for him. Haha!
We, together with Paulo and Ken, did a photoshoot.
A simple shoot turned out to be mega fun and super successful!
And I really like the concept because it really is ME.
Who would have thought something like this,
half-serious and unplanned photoshoot,
would get a good grade? ;)

*These are the unedited version of the photos
Thanks to Brent Chua for getting me as his model! :D

Unleash the swagger in me...
I personally LOVE this photo.

Lips Are Sealed

I actually do not know how to start this blog post.
I have been a sponge for a day and literally,
I was absorbing all the shiznits and what not of people around me. :))
Different stories. Different people.
Oh great. Haha

Story 1:

Sometimes, hidden desires should be kept to oneself and
not expose it to everyone,
most especially to the person/s involved.
And do not even attempt to show physical feelings if the feeling is not mutual
because seriously, it will ruin EVERYTHING.

Story 2:

Being way too nice doesn't work nowadays.
Sometimes you have to be harsh because if not,
people will take advantage of your kindness and vulnerability.
Voice out your feelings and be heard.
If you do not want what's happening,
you should give that person a piece of your mind.

Story 3:

Ego can hurt anyone, anytime.
If you like someone, you like someone.
If you don't, then you don't.
Simple as that.
There should not be any thorny answers in between.
It's just plain rude and disgusting to make someone fall for you.
And then you tell that person everything happened was nothing???
What the...

Story 4:

Sometimes, lying to people doesn't benefit you a good reputation
nor a clean slate in the so-called "industry".
Denying the truth is way too cowardice and despicable.
It is just so unfair.
So unfair and hurtful.

Story 5:

I will never lie just to save
someone's ass from getting burn.
NEVER.
I do not like what I'm seeing and people are already reacting on it.
Be very sensitive now.

Story 6:

Greediness is something you should take out of your system.
It's irritating already.

Story 7:

Unspoken words are actually way better than said words.
WAY better. :)

Happy 2d Birthday To My Baby!

Happy happy birthday to my baby, Lolleh! :)
She just turned 2 years old today.
We had a mini-party earlier at the preschool.
And guess what?
Her huge cake was filled with butterflies. :">
I'm so jealous! I want a cake like that :))
I love her so much.

*Sorry I won't post photos of her for safety purposes. ;)

Of Orchard Road And Forever21

This is one of the best weekends ever. :">
It is one of those ordinary Sundays with the family.
It's just that this time, I will be the one responsible in paying the bill
and my own F21 shopping therapy. :))
Oh yes, it's my first paycheck ever and
I feel like a REAL grown up right now.

Anyway, the pictures say it all. :)

Bloopers, Interrogations, and What Not

What I like about my job is that I learn everyday.
Not a single boring moment has ever come my way. :)
I get ideas from my colleagues and most especially, with my students.
I learn how to appreciate small things- may it be the child's artwork, smiley face, etc..
I get very happy whenever I accomplish
something that concerns about my students.
And of course, I also get those hideous, awkward moments
with the parents whenever they do not like what just happened with their child.

I LOVE my work. I LOVE being called "Teacher Gayle."
And to top it all, I LOVE my students very very much.
I am enjoying it too much that waking up at 5am is a piece of cake for me.
Mind you, I am not an early bird. ;)

Anyway, here are the simple conversations and
moments I had with my students that made me
REALLY happy. Like really happy. :D

1. In the playground
Me: Baby, what are you doing there?
Student: Buh-bye! (She loves saying that. I don't know why.)
Me: Come out here and play with *****.
Students: No! *constipated look while holding the leaves*
(She was pooping that time. Haha)

2. While practicing their writing skills
Student: Teacher Gayle, why are you so young?
Me: It's because I just graduated from college.
Student: Like that, Teacher?
Me: Yes, that's why you have to practice writing
so you can go to a big school already and be like Teacher Gayle.

3. One lunch time
Student: Teacher Gayle, why do you have 3 earrings and I only have two?
Me: It's just a design, ****. (OMG. I was stunned when she asked me that.)

4. During snack time, one of the students was trying to crack a joke
and no one laughed but him
Student: Ayy.. She didn't laugh at my joke *while pointing to his classmate*

5. Discussing about the life cycle of a butterfly
Me: Remember our story about the big, fat caterpillar who was very
hungry and ate a lot of food?
Student: Yes...
Me: What did he do after eating? Did he sleep? *making hand gestures*
Student: Yes, sleep. *copying my hand gestures*
Me: How many days do you think he slept to become a beautiful and colorful butterfly?
Student: 5days. *sounded very sure of her answer*
Me: Really? *smiling*
Student: Yah!

See how smart and adorable my students are!
I am so proud of them. :)
Their answers may be incorrect, but I know
they are very witty and will learn a lot.

Blast From the Past

I like the sudden feeling of nothingness.
It feels like I was back in 2007; when nothing else mattered
but myself, school or work, family, friends, and dance.
I'm getting used to it again.

Lappylove Turns 2

My baby in now 2 years of age. :)
Hurrah! I'm very happy it is still in good condition.
I just need to clean it a bit- esp. the keyboards. :|
Anyway, I wish my baby will stay longer.
She served me well.
I managed to pass all my thesis, reflection papers, and what not
on time because of her easy to use features.

P.S.
I have never had a problem with her. NEVER. ;)

Caraig-Pasco Nuptial

And so, Renee, our first bride in TEAMFAB,
walked down the aisle and gave her much awaited "I DO" to Lyle. :">
She's Ms. Caraig no more. :')
Gawd. I still cannot believe it.

Yesterday was Ren and Lyle's wedding at Casa Español, Quezon City.
It was just a simple wedding surrounded by their closed friends and family.
After work, I went home to change into a simple, gray dress and met up with
Evan and Kristian at Taft.

It's funny when we arrived at the place.
I saw Ren's mum outside a van.
Evan and I were gushing how this was all just a dream.
And suddenly, Tita Tess pointed to the van and told us, "She's inside the van."
I quickly ran to the door and almost cried when
I saw a gorgeous bride sitting and waiting to be called.
She's extra beautiful that day.
I cannot describe how happy I am for the couple.
I am just really glad that finally, Ren is in good hands.

When she was walking down the aisle, I couldn't help myself but cry.
Everything was just so beautiful and wonderful to hold my tears back.
True evidence of love and passion for each other- I have seen that with Lyle and Ren.
One thing I have realized yesterday when I heard their vows for each other
love is just so wonderful. VERY powerful and life-changing.

Check out the pictures. :)
