City of Pines, Here I Come!

After 12 years or so,
finally I would be able
to visit Baguio City again. :)
I can't really remember the last time I visited Baguio.
Was it 1998? or 1997?
I was laughing my head off
when my dad told me the other day
the incident when we were on our way back to Manila-
my nose kept bleeding. :))
I remember that incident very well
because a lot of people donated packs of tissue paper. :))

Hmmmm...
Let's see this time. :)
I'm bringing a pack of tissue anyway so no worries. ;p

And then, I started reminiscing the good old days. Haha
I saw pictures from my last trip to Baguio.
Pony ride, visiting the mansion, Baguio Cathedral...
I cannot wait to see those places again.

Queen B Is Torn Between Nate and Chuck

I so love the Episode 24 (Valley Girls) of Gossip Girl Season 2 ! :D
I thought the whole episode would be heavy drama,
but of course, our Queen B, Blair Waldorf, is there
to set the episode in a lighter mood. :)
Let's just say Queen B is torn between two hot guys :))
Is it Nate Archibald- the high school boyfriend/first love
or is it
Chuck Bass- selfish bastard/the nasty playboy who loves Blair secretly?

In my opinion, I'll choose Chuck. ;D

LPEP 2K9

Lasallian Personal Effectiveness Program

or also known as LPEP
was held at Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium
last May 6,8,11,13, and 15, 2009.
LPEP is a 2-day orientation for the incoming freshmen
in De La Salle University- Manila
We, LSDC-Jazz, performed in Day 1
instead of the usual Day 2 performance
together with LSDC-Street and DLSU Pep Squad.

Day 1 performance is composed of
all the Cultural Arts Office (CAO) groups namely:
DLSU Chorale, Lasallian Youth Orchestra,
Harlequin Theater Guild, De La Salle Innersoul,
La Salle Dance Company Street, Student Artists Managers,
Green Media Group, and La Salle Dance Company Jazz.

Congratulations to all the CAO groups for a successful event!
May we continue to inspire other people
and to promote the Filipino culture and arts.
Congratulations also to Kim Javellana and Katherine Barrios
in their first performance as LSDC-Jazz new members! :)

The Term Wasn't Bad After All

I have never felt happier when I checked

my My.LaSalle account and saw that
I am part of the Dean's List.

From my previous blog post about academic matters,
I wrote that I did not make it to the honor's list.
BUT
when I opened my account
to check the breakdown of my tuition fee,
I saw with my two big, brown eyes this

Actually, I was expecting to see a 2.95 in my GPA that term.
I was speechless that afternoon to see a 3.023 instead.
It was unbelievable.
I swear. :)
I feel euphoric right then and there.
Thank you so much, Teacher "C" :D

Speedy Bag

I bought a Speedy Bag

and a matching purse from
EGG (Exciting Gifts and Goodies) Trinoma Mall. :)
I super love it. :D
It comes with a brown heart keychain
and strips of polka dot cloth.
Actually, it has a lot of colors- bright colors.
I want to buy them all,
but of course, I have to pick only one
that would match most of my clothes. :)
And so I chose
the burnt orange-slash-reddish
with dark chocolate-colored handle. :)

They would imitate some icon and
would forget their own personality.
It is NOT bad to look up
to people who have achieved
so much in their lives;
however, there is a difference between
copying/biting and being inspired.


Lying to oneself or to someone
is not just for one's own convenient.
Reasons for doing so?
- greediness
- to fit in
- to look powerful
- to oppress other people

Its intrinsic meaning has been neglected by many.
They failed to consider
external manners, rational emotion, good conscience, and self-consistency.


What would the other person feel if you are insincere to him/her?
Hurt?
Nah, that's an understatement.
