No Other Woman

1st movie date with TeamFab
and obviously, we chose a chick flick for our girls day/night out. HAHA!
I kind of regret watching it though.
Don't get me wrong. It is not because of the movie.
I just did not like what I personally felt after watching it.
Truth has to be told. It is a must-see movie.
Everyone can relate because as the cliche goes,
"Love makes the world go round."

When love hits you,
you know nothing about BOUNDARIES and LIMITS.

Who would not fall for a girl like Kara Zalderiaga (Anne Curtis)-
gorgeous, successful, and alluring?
And with Ram Escaler's (Derek Ramsay) charisma, handsome face,
 and jaw-dropping body,
any girl will try to be in his wife's, Charmaine (Cristine Reyes), place.
This is a typical love triangle story executed breathtakingly
by 3 of the most beautiful actors in the country.

What would you do if the only person
you love is not destined to be with you?
Kara fought for that love and yet,
she wind up losing the battle.
Just like any other love story,
ONLY one has to suffer the most.

I wasn't able to control my tears while watching this movie.
Every dialogue hit me like a bull's eye.
Even though, the story is not exactly the same as "my story,"
I just felt terrible seeing how things appeared
so drastically heartbreaking
and seeing all the could-have-beens, it was awful.
The movie is a mixture of romance, heartache, and satire.
Thanks to Carmi Martin for her
outstanding humour in the film! Haha
It somehow turned the intense scenes into comedic ones.
And can I just say that Anne Curtis was incredibly gorgeous
and sophisticated in this film?
I love her swimsuit, cover ups, and dresses!
Over-all, I give this movie an A.
Good actors.
Outstanding script.
And of course,
a perfect story where
everyone can relate their love story to.

Best lines from the film:

"No pressure! And kiss me and don't you dare fall in love with me."

"Kahit alam mong bawal, lalabanan mo 'coz eventually
your body will get used to it."

"Ang mundo ay isang malaking Quiapo.
Maraming snatcher. Maagawan ka. Lumaban ka!"

"Everyday I'm trying to convince myself na mamahalin
din niya ako pero sayo parin siya umuuwi."

Still On A Hueniverse High

Contemporary dance: A dance genre that
unconsciously squeezes out people's emotions
through battements, extensions, arm movements, and the like.
(Not that I am saying other genres don't. Haha!)
I should know for
I have experienced them first hand MANY times.

HUENIVERSE: Dance all-encompassing in technicolor,
the 31st anniversary dance concert of
the La Salle Dance Company- Contemporary.
It was held at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium
in De La Salle University- Manila.

This concert helped me cope all the things life has thrown at me.
All the struggles during rehearsals...
All the after-training realizations...
All the warm hugs and pieces of advice...
All the emotions released..
And most importantly,
all the lessons I have shared with the LSDC-C family..

Thank you so much, Sir Peter,
for giving me an opportunity once again
to share my skills and to be part of this grand
anniversary concert.

Thank you, Sir Danny of Powerdance,
for pushing me forward when
mediocrity was killing my spirit and passion for dancing.

Thank you, current members and alumni members,
for helping me out and
sharing the great possibilities the world could offer-
dance and family.

TEAMFAB,
I love each and every one of you.
Thank you for pulling me up
when I was all over the floor weeping.
You understood every bit of my emotion
even without a word coming out of my mouth.
It was so good to share the stage with some of you once again.
Let us all be fabulous together forever, yes? :)

Many thanks also to my Skittlez babies and biological family
for watching and supporting the concert. :)

And yes,
I have found what I was looking for during the process.
This time I know it is for real.
No more hiding behind the shadows.
No more dark nights.
No more looking back.
The universe is so wonderful and beautiful
for me to miss out those great things
and opportunities.
I choose to see colors and
let the black & white/ gray area be gone.
I am without a doubt ready to fly away
and be free.

Here are some photos and videos during the concert:

Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin

Since I am fond of OPM songs,
here's an oldie one for everyone.

I always hear this song whenever my aunt and grandma
watches the teleserye in ABS-CBN every night. :))
And plus, one of my favourite OPM singers
made a cover for this.
I really love Juris' voice!

KrumPinoy at Mandirigma

Once again,
KrumPinoy showed with pride and honor
what KRUMP truly is about.
In spite of having technical difficulties
and lack of practice,
we brought the liveness on stage
because
THIS IS HOW WE GET BUCK. :)

Thank you so much, Allstars,
for inviting us in your fund-raising concert and
for always watching over us.
Just like what we said in our shout-out video,
KrumPinoy will never be here if not because of you. All of you.
I wish you all good luck in the upcoming
World HipHop Dance Championship in Las Vegas.
And, I KNOW you will bring home the bacon. :)
God bless po.
Have a safe trip to the US and back home!

I Just Have To

I cannot keep doing ALL these things anymore.
I am not a toy that you can play with
and put back to the shelf anytime you want.
I am not disappointed nor angry.
I wanted this, yes; but I guess,
what I really want is to save myself from abyss.
I am tired of being your option
when you know I should be a priority.
You know my worth and yet you treat
me as if I am some girl that you have just met somewhere.

I cannot fall from another trap.
I was able to save myself once.
I will do that again this time.
I deserve true affection and real love.

"You know what sucks?
Realizing that everything that you believe in
is a complete and utter bullshit."
-500 Days of Summer

I guess this time it really is good-bye.
I love you still.
You will always be a part of me.
It just hurts too much.

Strangers, AGAIN.

This really hit the bull's eye! :(
Watching this made me feel like I was back in 2007-2009.
Reminiscing now that I have fully moved on,
it makes me smile.
Of course, I cried because I saw in the film
the arguments that
could have been prevented,
the things could have done during the downhill,
and most importantly,
the unforgettable memories shared.
At least, now I know what to do. :)

I see that every relationship is a cycle.
Sometimes, it's a vicious cycle where
two people are just running around in circles; or
in some cases, they end up being good friends again.

Whatever cycle may that be,
I am more than glad to say that
I have gone through the stages and
I have learned a lot.

And yes, I am ready to love and be loved AGAIN. :)

Crazy Little Thing Called Love Part 7

This part of the movie made me cry so BAD.
11:17-14:43, FTW!
The body built..
The way the guy character appreciates things..
The eyes..
The lips..
TSK. :|

A Thai romantic comedy movie about two people
who love each other, but never get the chance to tell
one another.

"... Why does our time never match?"

To Make You Feel My Love

I want to make a contemporary dance for this song. :')

Skittlez Crew at Danz Dish 6

Thank you, LSDC-Street, for having us
as one of your guests in your concert! :)

In my opinion, this is, by far, the BEST piece ever made in Skittlez!
Powerhouse cast...
Skittlez members are the 100% choreographers...

I love this homegrown family! :)

Venus aka Baby Murda

Life Of A ________.
That's the topic of the Communication Arts students
for their video production class
in DLSU as their midterm project.
They have a segment where they would feature different
lives of people in the country.
Since many are still confused on what krump really is
and they get wrong information from media sources,
Pat Juat and Ria Casco asked me to be the subject for their segment.
They want to explore and get to know more about krump-
which I think is good since a lot of dancers in La Salle
mistaken krump as a violent and nonsensical dance genre.
I really hope after they release the whole segment,
people would get to know more about krump
and appreciate the spiritual and emotional side of the dance.

Anyway, this is just the teaser of their segment.
The interview part is not yet included in the clip.
However, this is the dance part.
I love it! :)
Favourite part? 0:43-0:47!!! :))
Thanks so much, Ria and Pat!
