KrumPinoy at Mandirigma

Once again,
KrumPinoy showed with pride and honor
what KRUMP truly is about.
In spite of having technical difficulties
and lack of practice,
we brought the liveness on stage
because
THIS IS HOW WE GET BUCK. :)

Thank you so much, Allstars,
for inviting us in your fund-raising concert and
for always watching over us.
Just like what we said in our shout-out video,
KrumPinoy will never be here if not because of you. All of you.
I wish you all good luck in the upcoming
World HipHop Dance Championship in Las Vegas.
And, I KNOW you will bring home the bacon. :)
God bless po.
Have a safe trip to the US and back home!

Again and Again

Oh June, why are you being like this to me?
Issue-tissue again. T_T
Can everything just be normal and happy AGAIN?
Please naman.
This week has totally put me
into different doors of emotions.
It was very tricky and confusing.
It rushes me to heaven and hell in a matter of seconds.
It REALLY does.

* Start of SY 11-12 at Creative Play Corner
June 21

Last Tuesday, work starts again.
We were actually earlier than the actual opening of the school
because
1. New teachers need to get ready and
be prepared with the materials and schedule.
2. We need to clean and decorate our classroom.
MY classroom. :3
3. We need to make new instructional materials.
I am so excited even if I'll be handling the Prep Bears instead
of the Panda Bears.
This is it! :)

* Good times with TeamFab
June 24

It just makes my heart VERY glad to see and
spend time with these people.
Happy Graduation to our very own, Monica!
We had dinner at TGIFridays, BGC The Fort to celebrate
Monica's graduation the next day.
Stormy night with the girls + bf & hubby:

* KrumPinoy 4th Anniversary
June 24

Nothing can stop us- not even the typhoon Falcon.
Celebrated the anniversary at Patio Jose, Quezon City.
A lot weren't able to come. though. :(
My gosh, it's been a long time.
I can still remember the time I was not a krumper yet
and I am so inspired by this fam.
And now, I am a part of them already.
Thank you so much, Big Pat and kapatids! :)
Happy Anniversary to us!

* House of Insults

I'm surprised they stopped from bombarding me
with harsh and heart-slashing words.
Are they running out of words to say or
they realized that it is not working anymore?
I have no more tears to shed nor a heart to
feel the pain.

* U

I found my inner-peace when you answered all
the questions that has been bugging
me for a VERY long time.
Things may have been mind-boggling for so many months,
but at least now I know what your thoughts are.
I do not know how to react
towards everything, though.
I just feel more scared and confused now
because I do not know what your real intentions are.
With all those kisses and hugs,
are you telling me you want me back?
Do you need me because you still love me?
Or you're saying you need me because
I fill in spaces in your heart?
I'm guessing that being there for you always makes
you confident enough to come back
whenever you want to and
just set me aside when you don't need me anymore.
But, there's something inside me that tells me
our love for each other never died to begin with
that's why we're still like this to each other.
Which is which?

I just realized that things happen
when you least expect them.
I was so busy this week because of work
and yet, simple pleasure and heartache
could affect me like this.
I promise, starting today,
I will be more focused and determined.
I have goals to achieve
and things to work on.

I can do this. :)

Nothing But Up

"Love the sinner. Hate the sin."

One of the best krump sessions I have attended
and indeed, it hit me straight to the heart.
Nothing will ever compare to what I always feel
after every session.
With all the loving, sharing, expressing, and praising,
damn, should I ask for more?

Thank You.

God, U, I Dance

It was a last minute "yes" to the organizers,
but it was all worth it. :)
We also made the transitions 30minutes before the show
and I was so happy that we were able to pull it off
that really BUCK.
I really have to say,
ANG SARAP MAG-KRUMP.

It was an inspiring night for most of us because
the community, at least most of them,
was there.
They performed and showered love to the audience.
So nice to see different dance styles all together
in one show.
A big congratulations to PCU-JMA
and to all the performers!
Tulungan paangat!
One love.

As for me,
I was able to kill my round.
I know I did. :)
A big thorn was taken out of my chest after. *sigh*

Venus aka Baby Murda

Life Of A ________.
That's the topic of the Communication Arts students
for their video production class
in DLSU as their midterm project.
They have a segment where they would feature different
lives of people in the country.
Since many are still confused on what krump really is
and they get wrong information from media sources,
Pat Juat and Ria Casco asked me to be the subject for their segment.
They want to explore and get to know more about krump-
which I think is good since a lot of dancers in La Salle
mistaken krump as a violent and nonsensical dance genre.
I really hope after they release the whole segment,
people would get to know more about krump
and appreciate the spiritual and emotional side of the dance.

Anyway, this is just the teaser of their segment.
The interview part is not yet included in the clip.
However, this is the dance part.
I love it! :)
Favourite part? 0:43-0:47!!! :))
Thanks so much, Ria and Pat!

KrumPinoy Celebrates Christmas

I'm so happy to be part of this family.
It's been almost a year since I first trained with KrumPinoy
and now, things are getting better and better. :)

We won't end the year without
celebrating the Christmas season
with Bacardi 151 and Red Horse. ;)
And of course,
bonding time for us...

The KP Christmas party is one of the awesome parties
I have attended.
It has the usual games but with a lot of twists
and what made it more fun is when the whole building (or whole street?)
had a blackout. :))
We played "I have never" in the dark. >:)
Secrets were revealed and stories were shared...
We did our kris kringle under the emergency light.
I like. :D

And lastly,
we exchanged hugs and greetings with LOVE...

Fresh-Murda Goes To Baguio City

Just as I thought life sucks big time,
here comes a memorable and awesome roadtrip
with the BEST krump fam in the world.
And yes, this is by far the BEST weekend I have had.
I love you, fam. Don't ever change, please?

I wish I could stop the ticking of the clock when we were all there.
It felt like a real family living and working together,
under one roof, sleeping in one room.
The cold weather meshed well with the warmth of Phil's ancestry house.
It was not so cold in the attic and
the extended part of the house is very Twilight-ish. ;)
Oh life, can you get any better? :)

*the house and Phil trying to open the door with his dozen keys
Hello KUYAAAAAAAA MARIIIOOOOO :D:D:D

Day 1: Krump/Dinner/Inuman Session with Baguio Amplified

Since we arrived early in Baguio and we all feel sluggish,
we decided to take a chill pill before strolling around the city.
We went out around 1pm and tried to find something to eat.
We ended up in a Chinese cuisine restaurant along Session Road- Star Cafe.

Off we go to Burnham Park right after we grab a "quick" bite.
We met up with Kaypee and Kith to krump session.
This is how we krumpers roll. We take it to the streets! :))
It was really a buck session and praise God for giving us these special talents-
krumping to express and to touch hearts.
Thank you, Baguio Amplified!

*Some of the best shots I have taken during and after the session

This is the part where I miss everyone- preparing meals. :)
Oh I love the distribution of tasks and surprisingly, we all have done it well.
And yes, my loves, I enjoyed the "5-Levels" game! :">

1. Fresh-Murda Fam Goes To Market

2. Cooking Time!

3. Party! Party! >:)

Day 2: Hello Tourist Spots! :D

I personally want to thank Bernadette for driving us around.
If not for her, we would be spending a lot of money on commuting.
Unfortunately, we were not able to go to different places
since we ran out of time.
BUT.. BUT..
Day 2 was hella amazing and worth it! :D

*Philippine Military Academy
*The Mansion
* Wright Park
* Mine's View Park
* Kennon Road
* Mass at Baguio Cathedral
* SM Baguio

A hiatus from the busy city of Manila...
And this is also a get-away from all the troubles and sadness
left here...
Saying good bye to Baguio was so hard. :(
I would miss it big time!
Hello, reality again.

Fam, just so you know, I really want to thank each and every one
of you for spending this weekend with me.
I am very much elated and thankful that I get to spend it with YOU. :)
When's our next roadtrip? ;)
