2010, Here I Come!

I just had my last-day-of-the-year syndrome and honestly,

I got teary-eyed looking back

and realizing another 365 days had gone by. :)

Leaving the past behind and starting anew are two different things.

I left all the troubles and yeah,

good old memories back in 2009 yet here I am now,

embracing the new year with all my heart

because I have changed.

I have discovered new things about me that I want to continue.

I know I didn't just leave 2009 as it is.

I left it with so many lessons learned

that I know will make my life in 2010 better.

I must say 2009 is not for me.

But hey, I'm glad those things have happened,

if not, I wouldn't be able to realize a lot of things.

It's so nice to see things clearly.

To begin my 2010, here are some things that I will keep in mind. *wink*

1. No more wanton spending... :) I know, I know... I will be an impulsive buyer no more. Ugh.
2. Learn how to wait. I realized that sometimes better things come when you wait. :)
3. Patience. This is so not me but yeah, I was able to exceed my patience-o-meter a few weeks ago. :)) I can't believe it either, but hey, isn't that a good thing?
4. There is always a rainbow after the rain. I'm so sure of this. :)
5. Stick to your true-blue friends. Some people will befriend you just to bite your head off.
6. Some people are just born power hungry and nasty. Hmmm... No more whys and hows. I just accepted it. :)
7. OH WELL... *sigh* Sometimes, people have to learn how to love from afar. You can never force love. NEVER.
8. Faith, hope, patience, trust, and love... NEVER lose those things in your heart. :)

I may have lost and gained things in life,

but one thing's for sure,

I still have ME- stronger and better.

Here's to a new year! *cheers*

This will be my first ever KRUMP battle
and it's against Paula a.k.a Lady Twix! :)
She's one of the best krumpers
here in the Philippines! :)
All I can say is "wow."
When she called me out
to battle against her,
I got really nervous but then, hey,
this experience is once in a lifetime
and this opportunity is good
as I'm a newbie krumper. :D
I'm pretty sure I would learn
and discover a lot during the event.
I can't wait!

City of Pines, Here I Come!

After 12 years or so,
finally I would be able
to visit Baguio City again. :)
I can't really remember the last time I visited Baguio.
Was it 1998? or 1997?
I was laughing my head off
when my dad told me the other day
the incident when we were on our way back to Manila-
my nose kept bleeding. :))
I remember that incident very well
because a lot of people donated packs of tissue paper. :))

Hmmmm...
Let's see this time. :)
I'm bringing a pack of tissue anyway so no worries. ;p

And then, I started reminiscing the good old days. Haha
I saw pictures from my last trip to Baguio.
Pony ride, visiting the mansion, Baguio Cathedral...
I cannot wait to see those places again.

was tough and a bit boring
but I know it would all make sense

during the overnight stay

for entertaining all the groups. :P

Unfortunately, not all were able
to complete the 1 week training. :(
They've missed a lot- fun and important matters.

First Day, New Beginning

It's the first day of the year 2009.

I feel new and old at the same time.

Old because I am not getting younger anymore.
In less than 8 months, I am out of the teen circle.
New because I have another 364 days
to fulfill my dreams and to be a better person.

First day of the year was smooth and short. Haha
Why? I woke up late. =D (2pm)
Jay and I went to my grandmother's house
to eat merienda/dinner.
The food's better than ever.

After that, we went to Coffee Bean. <3
After accumulating all 12 stamps, I got a "free" notebook from CB! =D
And, I get to help Cartwheel Foundation .
It's a foundation that provides unfortunate children
appropriate writing and reading materials for their education.



A good way to start my year. =)
