Karma Cleanse

While browsing through Twitter, I came across a picture from Yoga Plus Philippines and it actually made sense to me that the things listed in the picture are the things I am practicing right now.

Like REALLY now. :)

One thing I have learned from the Yoga class that I have attended...

"Om shanti shanti shanti..."

So here is the list of the Karma Cleanse:

1. Be grateful.

2. Act with LOVE.

3. Check your motives.

4. Watch your attitude.

5. FORGIVE.

Namaste, everyone!

New Year's Eve

"It only happens once a year.
It's a time when hopeless can be romantic
and a resolution can be a revelation.
And when one night can change everything..."
- New Year's Eve, 2011

A year is about to end once again
and this time,
I know I am about to breeze through it
with a big smile in my face and my heart. :)

I just want to thank everyone for a wonderful year.
Things at the start of the year
 were not as great as what is happening now and yet,
with all those challenges and good times,
here I am,
stronger and wiser.

"All's well that ends well," as what they say.

Reading my 2011 Coffee Bean Journal brought me into tears.
A lot of things REALLY did happened to me in 2011.
Wonderful and heartbreaking ones...
As fast as the year may seem, yes, countless things have happened.
The last day of the year is actually one of the best days for me. :)

Here are the unforgettable memories of 2011:

January:

February:

March:

April:

May:

June:

July:

August:

semptember:

October:

November:

December:

And I know I am going to get jiggy with the year 2012
with all of you AGAIN!

"It'suspended there to remind us before
we pop the champagne and
celebrate the New Year,
to stop and reflect on the year that has gone by.
To remember both out triumphs
and out missteps- our promises made and broken.
The times we opened ourselves down, for fear of getting hurt.
Because that's what New Year's all about:
getting another chance.
A chance to FORGIVE, to do BETTER, to do MORE,
to give GIVE, and to LOVE more.
And stop worrying about 'what if' and start embracing 'what would be.'
When the ball drops at midnight -and it will drop-
let's remember to be nice to each other,
kind to each other, and not just tonight,
but all year long."

#8 Remember the Benefits Of Moving On

When you let go, you give yourself peace.
Everything about holding on is torturous. You regret, you feel ashamed and guilty, you rehash, you obsess—it’s all an exercise in suffering. The only way to feel peace is to quiet the thoughts that threaten it.
Letting go opens you up to new possibilities.
When you’re holding onto something, you’re less open to giving and receiving anything else.
If you had your arms wrapped around a huge bucket of water, you wouldn’t be able to give anything other than that bucket, or grab anything else that came your way. You might even struggle breathing because you’re clutching something so all-encompassing with so much effort.
You have to give to receive. Give love to get love, share joy to feel joy. It’s only possible if you’re open and receptive.

Psalm 18:6

"The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.
He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise,
and I am saved from my enemies.
The cords of death entangled me;
the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me.
The cords of the grave coiled around me;
the snares of death confronted me.
In my distress I called to the LORD;
I cried to my God for help.
From his temple he heard my voice;
my cry came before him, into his ears."

And Then I Realized

Not married.
No boyfriend.
Not even have a crush.
BUT...
I still have LOVE. :)
