Hooray Monday!

I really thought I will not be doing anything today
because
1. I didn't plan anything. (kinda weird since I'm a planning OC!)
2. My bed was so inviting. SLEEP FREAK ALERT! :))
3. I just felt sluggish earlier this morning.

And then, I received a text message from
my ulupong bestfriend Rocky.
He asked me to go to La Salle and
update him with all the shizz in my life right now. :))
I went there around 5-ish and he was not in Yuchengco Lobby.
Just when I was waiting for Rocky,
I got a text message from Phil saying that
there's a US Study Expo in Intercontinental Hotel-Makati.
I didn't give it a second thought. :))
I say grab the oppotunity!!!
I hurriedly went there and
met up with Phil and Roz. (Of course, I told Rockypang.)
Two-thumbs up for the Expo!
A lot of great schools participated and
I'm really looking forward in enrolling to one of them. ;)

After the Expo, we ate dinner at Wendy's- Glorietta4 and
chatted for a few hours about career, love, and dance.
Good insights and great pieces of advice. :)
I agree.
It is either a yes or a no. No in betweens.
And I chose YES.
It's just that now is not the right time. :')
I was about to jump off the cliff,
but they pulled me back and saved me.
I'm really glad they did. I REALLY do.

To wrap my night up,
Phil offered to drop us off somewhere near the MRT station
which is a block away from Glorietta4. (Weird!)
We were having our random conversation inside the car
when he asked me to put his headphones at the back of the car-
with his lips pointing to an oh-so-cute panda bear!!! :">
It was his pasalubong for me from Hong Kong.
I named it after him: Rafael. My 9th panda-bebe! :D
That made me VERY VERY happy.
Just when I was feeling awful and gloomy after the talk,
a surprise came. A good one, for that matter.
Thank you so much, Phil and Roz, for making my day!
God is really good.

P.S.
I like Phil's new haircut!
Looks fresh and dope! ;)

It's 3 in the morning and I'm still wide awake
from too much Tumblr-ing.
Uh-oh. New addiction alert! :))

Venus aka Baby Murda

Life Of A ________.
That's the topic of the Communication Arts students
for their video production class
in DLSU as their midterm project.
They have a segment where they would feature different
lives of people in the country.
Since many are still confused on what krump really is
and they get wrong information from media sources,
Pat Juat and Ria Casco asked me to be the subject for their segment.
They want to explore and get to know more about krump-
which I think is good since a lot of dancers in La Salle
mistaken krump as a violent and nonsensical dance genre.
I really hope after they release the whole segment,
people would get to know more about krump
and appreciate the spiritual and emotional side of the dance.

Anyway, this is just the teaser of their segment.
The interview part is not yet included in the clip.
However, this is the dance part.
I love it! :)
Favourite part? 0:43-0:47!!! :))
Thanks so much, Ria and Pat!

Rocky's 20th!

It's my Skittle brotha/BFF's birthday today!
The usual greeting we tell each other is something like this:
"Ayyy.. *pretends I tripped*
Birthday mo? Weh? Di nga? Happy New Year! *LOL*"
See the craziness and sweetness??? NOT. :))
That's what makes our friendship stronger-
transparency and patience.

To be honest,
we've known each other for almost a year
and yet, I feel like I've known him forever.
One look, he already knows when I am about to cry
or that I have a happy story to tell & vice versa.
Is it just me or he really knows me from skin to bones? :))

Anyway,
I'd like to take this opportunity to greet him a
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :)
You've got a long way, bro!
TIWALA. :)
I wish you gain more courage and confidence
in everything that you do.
You know what I'm talking about. ;)
Seriously, thank you so much for everything.
All this time you were there to support and guide me.
You know I'm also always here for you and Issa.
Wishing you all the best in life.
I hope you enjoy your day!
Cliche or not, I am grateful that a ROCKYPANG was born today.
Things will never be the same if I didn't sit
in front of National Bookstore-La Salle
with you and Kelvin that night. Remember those times? :)
Love you, bro! :*
Friends for keep.

Graduation Get-Away

To celebrate my graduation,
we had 2 days and 1 night stay at Baby Relly's rest house at Laguna.
Awesome pool! :)

I really enjoyed this out of town trip.
First, it was not planned.
Second, it was right after my graduation.
And third, I get to spend time with my DLSU family yet again.

And plus, I have been wanting this get-away for a long time.
Finally, it came true.
Thank you, Skittlez, for completing my graduation day. :)

P.S.
The card-reading game was freaky!
Seriously.
Was it coincidental or what? :))

Goodbye University, Hello Reality!

The best gift that a child could give to his parents
is the honor of seeing him/her
march on stage and get a diploma.
That was my parents only wish for me...
And I made it! :')

Earlier, I nearly cried while marching on stage-
all because of joy and gratitude.
I had a flashback of memories and I couldn't help
but smile and reminisce.
After 3 and a half years, here I am, a professional TEACHER.
This is impossible if not without my parents.

Thank you, Ma & Pa. :')
I did it! I REALLY did it! :)

Welcome Home, Ara!

Ara is officially back!
Fresh from LA.. :))
It's been what? 2 years since the last time we saw each other.
All of us were still in LSDC-Jazz/Contemporary
back then.
She left during the anniversary concert
and now,
she REALLY is back!
It may not be for good, but I'm really glad
TEAMFAB is complete here in the Philippines.

Anyway, we ate dinner at Kabisera, Bonifacio High Street
at The Fort, Taguig.
It's a Filipino cuisine restaurant right across R.O.X.
Two-thumbs up for the food and with a place like that, classy and cozy,
I'm surprised that our food
is pretty inexpensive. ;)

I missed this. So much.
Chillin', hanging-out, laughing our asses off,
and meeting/updating each other about our private lives.
Evan, you got this girl! IKAW NA ANG "UPDATED"! :))
And yes,
I cannot deny that we all still look as FABULOUS as before.
Nah wait..
We're even better.
I love it.

"I'm your girl.
You're my girl.
We your girls.
Don't you know that we love ya..."
- Destiny's Child

Pam Param Pam Pam

It's time for us to go.
We had a happy day.
See you all again...
See you then, my friend...
