Not Feeling Well

Oh gosh.
I hate it when I get colds, cough and fever.
Please, take this sickness away from me.
I feel useless and weak.
I cannot function properly. :((

Skittlez at DLSU's One Million Trees Project: Green Revolution

*Missing: Nica Carlos :(

Once again,
Skittlez Crew was invited to perform
in one of the school events together with
ComOne Ground, Up Dharma Down, Urbandub, and more.
It was headed by one of the political parties,
Alyansang TAPAT Sa Lasallista.

I'm so proud of EVERYONE esp. to the new members
who danced with the crew a while ago for the first time.
And can I just say that everyone was so sexy and swag earlier?
With the all-new dance pieces...
SUMABOG. Gosh. :))

P.S.
I cannot stop watching the video.
Everyone improved.
I'm so happy for the crew! :D

Go and watch only if you can handle it. *wink*

Late Night Talks

"If I am really a part of your dream,
you'll come back one day."
- Paulo Coelho
Just had one of the most enlightening conversations
with my krump brother, Phill.
I can say so many things when my mind is clouded.
Or is this because I had a stressful day in school that I had to let it out?
It could also be my state of confusion over certain things in life.
But then again, I feel so ALIVE and FREE.
I keep repeating to myself and
am more convinced that
I never lost anything since
it was never really mine to begin with.
No one owns anyone, remember?

Over 8 billion people around the world,
there is always that one person who would
make you realize that you can always avoid
the shit along your path.
Just sweep it off if you must!

And after you do that,
you'll realize your importance and your love for yourself.
You don't have to prove ANYTHING
if you really are confident with yourself, right?
I say, I can do this
'coz I'M SWAGGA LIKE THAT.

According to the great Dalai Lama,

"Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional."

Far Away

"This time, this place
Misused, mistakes
Too long, too late..."

I guess this time I will be able
to finish my choreography.
I have MORE REASONS to continue finishing it now
and more reasons to dance it in front of everyone.

I'm just so happy that dance could
express something that words cannot even explain.
Oh the art of dance!
It is one of the best things that a man have introduced
to this miserable world.

Not scared anymore... :')
Note to self:
There are things in life that are not meant to happen;
maybe they do but not at the time being.

Anyway, here's the song of the dance
I have been trying to finish for several months now.

HERM.

Obsession kills.

It's funny how you try to put people down.
Oh wait. Let me correct that.
It's funny how you try to PULL people down.
Who are you again? :))
'Coz seriously, KNOW YOUR RANK.
I don't give a shit whether you're friends with the
MOST popular person in this community
because I'm sure that that person is laughing at you right now.
YES, LAUGHING AT YOU.
And here you go again, bragging and backstabbing. I knew it. :))
Excuse me, dear.
I believe you forgot what your "friends"
have been trying to preach-
BE HUMBLE.
One more time I hear you backstab my KRUMP brother
and I swear,
I'll rip the shit out of you. *KRUMP MODE*
It's not a threat, it's a promise. :)

Just a friendly advice..
Try to open your big mouth when you're in the cipher
and I'll make sure you're eating your shoes after the battle. ;)
I have been very patient with you, young blood,
but you crossed the line.

Just so you know..
YOU CAN NEVER FUCK ME OVER.
I want your rounds, figga!

Typhoon Basyang/Conson

I hate you for scaring the hell out of me. :(
Last night when you hit and signal#2 was raised over Manila,
I was happily chatting with one of my dancemates
and suddenly the power went off.
The windows rattled in the wind
and I heard hustling sound. More of like a ghost howling. :((
I got REALLY scared to the point I ran to my room
and hid under the blanket. :|

BOO. And classes got suspended today.
Me don't likey. >:P

So This Is It

"I'll always have the memories but she'll always have YOU..."

A Little Bit of This and That

Some say ignorance could hurt anyone in no time.
I say ignorance can KILL anyone in no time.

I am not a big fan of people who are
pretentious and insensitive
because in any angle you look at it,
it is wrong and
it hurts to see people try a little bit
of "this and that."
What I mean to say is that when people
try to manipulate others just to get what they want,
they are actually like food-testing for an event.
This food is good, check.
This food tastes like crap, no.
Come one, people.
They are humans not material things.
They have feelings, too.
They get hurt and they fall for the trap.

I just realized that in real life, there are a lot of CHOICES.
You just have to be wise in your decisions.
In those decisions, you have to be the player, not the game.
And in real life, you are one of the choices,
whether you like it or not.
Who could resist "this and that"
when it's right in front of you?
No one.

~ Ranting done. There's a real story behind this nonsensical blog post. Sorry can't really put into words how I feel towards that incident. :|

UAAP Season 73 Opening Ceremony

Let the games begin.

UAAP is now on its 73rd Season!
This year the hosting school, my alma mater,
De La Salle University-Manila,
prepared for a tremendous opening number with all
the different organizations from
DLSU, DLS-CSB, and La Salle Greenhills.
A soulful song number
was also performed by Mr. Ogie Alcasid
and an energetic song and dance number
was performed by DLSU's very own alumnus,
Mr. Gary Valenciano together with the Maneouvers.
A teaser for all the participating schools was made by a
well-known director, Mr. Mark Reyes.

The opening number was awesome and
everyone rocked the Big Dome.
I saw the excitement in the faces of all
the Lasallians who went there to support.
To top it all of,
DLSU Green Archers won against UP Maroon by 18points.
What a good way to start the season, eh? ;)

I am so PROUD to be part of this big event.
Big congrats to my crew, Skittlez,
for being one of the crews who performed for this
once in a lifetime opportunity.
All those sleepless nights and
countless times we've practiced the dances are worth it.
I feel like I made a big mark
before leaving the university.

And so here are the clips from the opening ceremony
of this year's UAAP league.
Manila, are you ready for another year of battle and action?
This is where HEROES are made.

"Showdown" with the heroes

"Hataw Na" with Mr. Pure Energy and the Maneouvers

Forever 21 in the Philippines

The most awaited clothing store
is now here in the country.
The legit
Forever 21 is located
at SM Megamall A,
Upper Ground Floor.
It opened its doors last July2
around 10 in the morning
and I must say
the girls went ga-ga
over the much awaited store. :))

It was pure madness!
The line outside was
crazy and long.
This 2,700 square meter store
has
all the up-to-date, stylish, and affordable clothes.
I actually thought the price range of the clothes
would be the same as Zara and Topshop,
BUT it was unbelievably way cheaper.
(P125 up)
They have EVERYTHING,
from basic finds to Gossip Girl-ish dresses, to Safari-inspired clothing.

And one thing I love most about this boutique
is that they change their styles EVERY month.

How cool is that? :)

I went there with my
Skittlez gerlies Nica and Elana.
We enjoyed every second of our shopping therapy
the moment we land our feet at the entrance of the store.

I have seen a lot of familiar faces

from La Salle and the dance community.

And can you believe that

there was a LONG line outside the 34 fitting rooms?
Gosh. It was actually a bit horrifying seeing

a lot of girls trying out their funky finds in front of the mirror,

outside the fitting rooms. :|

Plus, Nica had a small fight
with
a random girl at the counter. *fighting nails on*

And we waited

for 1 and a half hours just to pay. :))

Nonetheless, we still enjoyed our shopping day/therapy.

I guess it is just because that day

was the grand opening of F21.
Who wouldn't feel excited, right? ;)

Anyway, it was really all worth it.
I love you gerlies for going there with me. :)

I cannot wait to go back there and shop again.

Here are the photos c/o Nica Carlos and
Chuvaness:

Lost Somewhere

"Take a stand.
Leave it all behind.
The sooner you accept things the faster you let go.
Be strong."

But how?
What is the first step?
How will I start?
Do I have to stay away from everyone?

Just like in writing a composition, the introduction is the hardest to write. As you put into words all your thoughts, everything just follows naturally. Is it the same with feelings? If you take the first BIG step, you'll be able to walk comfortably afterwards? GAAAAAHH. Can I ask for help? I'm lost somewhere between the 1st paragraph and the 3rd. Can I just jump to the conclusion and get this done and over with? :'( Why is it so hard? I'm not being a big girl's blouse. It's just that it's... I don't know... Hard, I guess? I couldn't even explain it myself. Forget it. I'll just shut up.

Ladies' Session

An all-girls' session was held a while ago
at the DLS-CSB School of Design and Arts Building.
The sole reason why we want
ALL the female dancers here in the Philippines
to push the movement is because we want
to bring out the woman-ness in each of us.
We were inspired by Philippine Allstars: Stellar's very own
Sheena Vera Cruz and Lema Diaz
to share the feminine culture in the hip-hop community
and to show our individuality as a woman. :)
Don't get me wrong. This is NO anti-swaggers movement.
We just want to put some touch of womanhood in dance
Thank you Ate Sheena and Ate Lema
for continuously inspiring us
and showing us the real essence of being a woman.
We will never ever forget your words of wisdom,
may it be in dancing or in real/love life. ;)
We miss you!!!

I also want to thank Jamaica for bringing out
the FIRE in me and believing
that I can do the impossible.
I know you've seen me in my best and worst.
I know I got your back.

Girl power, chyeaaah!

Song: Oops Oh My by Tweet
Choreographed by Jamaica Jornacion of Unschooled Dance Crew
